About the Tutor

Ian Jarvis will be running all the courses.

I have been practising Spineworks since 1994. I trained with the founder Tarpan Williams on his first courses in the UK. I then worked with Tarpan for several years, helping develop the courses and writing the manuals. We ran many Spineworks courses together in the UK. I now do all the Spineworks training in the UK and Europe.

Today Spineworks has developed a long way since those early days of 1994/5. I have introduced techniques and ideas that I have learnt in my own practice, experience and training - always with the same ideas at their core. Some I have modified (eg made them more gentle), some I have accepted exactly as I learnt them. So the system is still growing and I hope that I can bring even more to it as I continue on my own way.

I also practise Shiatsu and Reiki. I first learnt Reiki in 1992 and was initiated as a Reiki Master in 2002. Reiki is probably the most important thing in my life and it has fed my developments within Spineworks.

I am continuing my own training and education both directly in attending other therapy workshops and indirectly by personal development and other experiences.

I also run Reiki training courses for First and Second Degree. Contact me for further information. I offer First Degree courses for men only as some men prefer to receive this powerful experience within an all-male group. Contact me for further information.
 

Ο Ian εκπαιδεύτηκε στο Σιάτσου στη σχολή του Λονδίνου KI Kai School, παίρνοντας το πτυχίο του το 1993. Το 1992 ξεκίνησε την εκπαίδευσή του στο Ρέικι, ειδικά στο Usui Shiki Ryoho (Το Usui Σύστημα της Φυσικής Θεραπείας Ρέικι). Μετά από 10 χρόνια θεραπειών (το 2002) μυήθηκε σαν Reiki Master.

Το 1994 συνάντησε τον Tarpan Williams ο οποίος είχε αναπτύξει την Σπονδυλοθεραπεία κατά τη διάρκεια των προηγούμενων 20 χρόνων. Ο Ian εκπαιδεύτηκε από τον Tarpan και μετά δούλεψε σαν μαθητευόμενος του για αρκετά χρόνια. Μαζί, εξέλιξαν την εκπαιδευτική σειρά μαθημάτων για την οποία ο Ian έγραψε τα εγχειρίδια και βοήθησε στη διδασκαλία και εκγύμναση των μαθητών.

Ο Tarpan επέστρεψε την γενέτειρα του Αυστραλία το 1999. Από εκείνη τη στιγμή ο Ian είναι ο μοναδικός δάσκαλος της Σπονδυλοθεραπείας στην Ευρώπη και διδάσκει σειρές μαθημάτων στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο, την Ιρλανδία και την Ελλάδα.
