  Special Note
Please note that this site and Spineworks is different to the "SpineWorks" clinics that are appearing in USA and UK with a website spineworks.com. These seem to be chiropractic and/or physiotherapy based whereas what I teach is a specialised system in its own right. And I do not say or imply anything about the quality or effectiveness of the treatments they offer - I simply don't know as I have no relationship with them.

Spineworks is now available in the midlands with Ian - call on 07793 908 790

Bones do not move by themselves.
Muscles move them.
Muscles do not move by themselves.
Nerves tell them.
Nerves do not give the instructions by themselves.
The brain tells them.

Spineworks* works in co-operation with this process by asking the subconscious brain to reconnect to muscle that is in spasm and give it the instruction to relax. (Rather than use the therapist's own "massage" actions to release them.) In this way it is the subconscious of the person themselves that releases the spasm in the muscle. Thus it is more likely that the new state of the body remains.

You do not have to be in pain to benefit from a treatment. Spineworks is also therapeutic and preventative. All of us have a history of knocks and bumps, injuries and pain even though at the moment we are "fine". Now is the time to have a Maintenance Check - just as you would expect your car to have. The effects of all these knocks are slowly being stored up in your body - a Spineworks treatment will remove many of them just as your regular car service will remove potential problems with your vehicle.

Spineworks training is very practical with as much hands-on practice as possible. You will also receive theory and the ideas behind the techniques. Bodywork is about more than technique so practice, case studies and dedication are all part of the students' development. Some of the things you will learn are:

The importance of muscle spasm and how to release it

The importance of the spine and non-force vertebral realignment

 Neck techniques (inc for whiplash)

Pelvis release and realignment

Movement techniques and ideas

The training courses are aimed at practising therapists and are suitable as Continuing Professional Development (CPD). They are accredited by the Association of Physical and Natural Therapists (APNT).

Many of my personal clients have been in chronic pain and "tried everything else" - allopathic, complementary, alternative. In the majority of these cases Spineworks has helped to ease or clear their pain. I can claim 90% success rate with these clients.

If you would like a treatment I live and work in Warwick (07793 908 790). If you live a distance away look at the Practitioners page or book a 2-hour treatment with me. Treatments with me cost £40 for one hour or £70 for two hours. Other practitioners will of course make their own charges. I also offer treatments in Athens usually on dates before and after the courses there; send me an e-mail and I will give you my availablility.

* Spineworks was so called because there is a spinal component at some level with every problem. Remember that the nerves start off by coming down the spine and branching out through holes in it.

Apart from being therapeutic Spineworks can help:
Back pain & Back problems

Leg-length differences

Whiplash injuries
Sciatica and similar RSI. Frozen Shoulder etc Headaches and Migraine
Scoliosis, kyphosis,Lordosis Physical pain Pelvis problems
